Place du Chatelet
Located on the banks of the Seine, the Place du Chatelet as a bridge between the 1st and 4th arrondissement. Thus, the Place du Chatelet was constructed in a location of the Grand Place Chatelet which was destroyed by Napoleon in 1802. Place du Chatelet has a central location in Paris and is a key crossing north and south East and West which has made it a hub for public transportation. So, to that place is our hotel Andre, who wants to be the reference for all hotels.
At the center of the square, reserved for pedestrians will find the fountain of palm, a column erected in 1808 to the glory of the victories of Napoleon, derived on a fountain in the basement of 1858, adorned with sphinx and statues designed by Gabriel Davioud, restored by Jules Blanchard. The center also includes a newsstand. On both sides along the docks, lie two theaters built by Gabriel Davioud at the request of Baron Haussmann, the Pacific Theater and the Theater of the City. Four major brewers are also present at the four corners of the square, including Le Vieux Châtelet and Sarah Bernhardt.
